BATP: A smarter clean, built into every roll

BATP® is toilet paper with an active purpose. Powered by a synergy of five naturally occurring micro-organisms, it activates only when in contact with water and begins breaking down organic matter in pipes, drains and sewage systems. Safe, effective and completely natural, it keeps bathrooms, drainage lines and septic tank systems healthier with every use.

Once in contact with water, the bacteria ‘wake up’ and release specific enzymes that initiate the biodegradation of organic matter, providing a 100% natural deep clean and descale. How is product quality guaranteed? 
VEZ Technology instituted and implemented a Quality Control System, including routine checks and measurements, to ensure product integrity, accuracy, and completeness; to identify and address errors and omissions in the process; and to document and archive all records and activities.
BATP® is formed only by spore-forming bacteria strains. The fermentation is a controlled process performed on a single strain at a time. All strains will then be combined in the final blend at the required percentages. The final phase of fermentation involves a sudden change in living conditions to induce the spore state. The non-spore-forming bacteria do not survive.
In the toxicology expert assessment performed by the Pharmacology and Toxicology Department of the University of Pisa (Italy), BATP® was found to be non-toxic, non-harmful, non-irritating to the skin, eyes, and human vaginal epithelium and mucosa, and it doesn’t show any stimulating potential or immune cellular response.
Yes, BATP® has been dermatologically tested by Allergisa as safe for use on sensitive skin.
The introduction of BATP® into sewage systems positively impacts biomass by promoting and accelerating biodegradation. The BATP® spores regenerate based on their environment; the more nutrients (dirt) there are, the more they multiply and increase their cleaning efficiency exponentially.  The cleaning action just never stops.  By removing all organic matter, BATP® creates a biological antagonism against pathogenic bacterial colonies and colonises pipes, preventing the settlement of insect larvae.
Pathogens are harmful bacteria, and multiple tests have demonstrated the effectiveness of the beneficial enzyme activity of BATP® spores. Various Challenge Tests have been performed by Chelab Silliker, the National Institute for Forest, Agriculture & Livestock Research (Mexico), SGS (Germany), and Worldwide Laboratory Testing Services.  All tests showed that BATP® was highly active in inhibiting the growth of Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, Clostridium Sporogenes, Enterococcus Faecalis, Escherichia coli, Salmonella, and Staphylococcus aureus.
In approximately four weeks of regular use of BioActive Toilet Paper, you will have a cleaner drainage, piping and sewage system.
